Video surveillance is a popular security system used heavily over the past two decades. It is common to see security cameras in most stores and banks in the United States today. Retail stores use the cameras to target theft, while homes and residential areas often have mounted IP cameras for safety reasons. Surveillance cameras have also been used extensively in daycare centers and by parents in their homes to help protect the interests of their children.
